▍NTE Akane Rin Overview

Rarity: 5-Star | Element: Lakshana | Role: DPS | Arc: Far Side of the Moon

Akane Rin's combat style combines her electric guitar with sound blades. Her Basic Attack can generate String Energy, while her Redirect Skill converts her attacks into stronger ranged attacks against either a marked target or enemies inside a Reverb Field.

Her Ultimate, Sonic Boom, deals massive Lakshana DMG and places her into the Solo Cadenza state. When the state ends, Akane automatically unleashes another powerful attack, giving her a clear burst window.

▍Akane Rin Kit

Basic Attack — String Energy

Akane Rin can transform her electric guitar into a weapon during combat. By playing her guitar, she fires high-speed sound blades, making her an effective mid-to-long-range fighter.

Her Basic Attack consists of up to four consecutive hits, with each hit generating String Energy.

Redirect Skill — Overtone

Tapping Akane Rin's Redirect Skill applies Overtone to a single target and deals damage.

Once Overtone is applied, her Basic Attacks will automatically channel toward the marked target from a distance. These channeled Basic Attacks also receive an additional damage boost.

When an Overtone is present on the field, using her empowered Skill can detonate it, dealing massive single-target damage.

Ultimate — Sonic Boom

When Akane Rin's Ultimate Gauge is fully charged, she can unleash her Ultimate, Sonic Boom.

Casting her Ultimate puts Akane Rin into a special state, opening the performance with a massive burst of damage before she continues fighting.

Skill Upgrade Priority

Ultimate > Redirect Skill > Basic Attack > Support Skill

This is a preliminary priority based on the currently revealed kit. Her final skill multipliers and in-game rotation should be checked again once Akane Rin becomes playable.

Akane Rin's signature Arc is Far Side of the Moon, an S-Class Liquid Arc planned for the second-half Arc Research program alongside her banner.

Far Side of the Moon should be treated as Akane Rin's primary Arc option, while alternative Arcs can be selected according to their available offensive stats. Since the final live numbers have not yet been fully documented, it is safer to compare alternative Arcs after Version 1.4 launches.

For a preliminary DPS build, prioritize offensive stats such as:

Lakshana DMG > CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK%

Akane Rin's Arc compatibility is currently listed as Liquid.

▍NTE Akane Rin Best Modules

For Akane Rin, Street Boxer is a natural preliminary Module choice because it directly boosts Lakshana DMG and increases CRIT Rate when the team triggers Remora or Stain.

This set is particularly relevant because Akane Rin can participate in teams built around both Stain and Remora. Stain is created through Psyche + Lakshana, while Remora is associated with Lakshana + Cosmos interactions.

Module Stat Priority

For a preliminary Akane Rin DPS build, prioritize:

Main Stats: Lakshana DMG Up > CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK Bonus

Sub Stats: CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > Universal DMG Bonus > ATK Bonus

This follows the existing Lakshana DPS build pattern used for characters such as Chaos and Hathor.

▍NTE Akane Rin Team Comps

Akane Rin is designed as a Lakshana Main DPS, so her teams should focus on supporting her personal damage while activating Esper Cycle effects.

1. Akane Rin + Blackbird + Haniel + Fadia

This lineup is built around the Stain reaction between Lakshana and Psyche.

Akane Rin takes the main on-field DPS role, while Blackbird can contribute Psyche damage and coordinated attacks. Haniel and Fadia provide additional support and Psyche application for maintaining the team's reaction cycle.

The exact field-time balance between Akane Rin and Blackbird should be tested after both characters are fully playable, since both are designed as Main DPS units. The elemental interaction itself is confirmed: Psyche + Lakshana produces Stain.

2. Akane Rin + Esper Zero + Haniel + Fadia

This setup adds Cosmos alongside Lakshana to access Remora while retaining Psyche characters for additional Stain interactions.

Akane Rin remains the primary damage dealer, while the other characters can contribute off-field effects, buffs, or reaction setup depending on their final Version 1.4 interactions.
