Phase 1 (Zankou) August 19, 2026 – September 9, 2026

Main DPS | ||
Zankou | Rarity | S |
Element | Incantation | |
Role | Main DPS | |
The Scarlet Letter storyline reaches its ultimate climax as Zankou steps into the spotlight! Shedding her boss-form eyepatch and mother Inanna's restraining beads, this decisive katana master arrives as an Incantation-attribute S-Rank main DPS. In combat, she rapidly stacks Incantation energy on field to trigger the brand-new "Overmark" reaction when paired with Anima elements, boosting team damage for 12 seconds. Her ultimate unleashes an unbound crimson slash, shattering enemy defenses with devastating wide-AOE Incantation damage.
Phase 2 (Linko) September 9, 2026 – September 30, 2026

Healer / Buffer | ||
Linko | Rarity | S |
Element | Anima | |
Role | Universal Support | |
Reserve Squad Six's airheaded Clairvoyant, Linko, is finally here! Carrying a vintage purple CRT television on her back, this petite Anima-attribute S-Rank support relies on spectral phantoms to empower her team. In battle, her TV spirit persists off-field to continuously apply Anima element—acting as the ideal Overmark enabler for Zankou while serving as a direct upgrade for Accumulation stacking. Her ultimate summons her TV phantom to unleash spectral shockwaves, granting universal DMG boosts and protective team shields.
Phase 1 (Elyms)

The Vice-Captain of E.T.D. Squad 6, whose release date will likely be further down the line. Elyms is a blue-haired young lady with an ice cream aesthetic atop her head and a predominantly white color scheme.

Based on official livestream previews, she is estimated to feature dual-form mechanics and a transformation system similar to Shinku. While her kit remains unconfirmed, she will likely end up as an Aether or Psyche attribute support.
Phase 2 (Exe)

The Captain of E.T.D. Squad 6 and currently the most handsome male character in NTE. However, he is also the only other male "satellite" character besides Version 1.1's Chaos. As the Captain of Squad 6 with a cool, aloof demeanor, his character design easily positions him to be a major marquee release. I believe Exe will highly likely boast top-tier performance, serving as a powerful Main DPS of the 1.0 era.
Phase 1 (Akane Rin)

It's undeniable that Akane Rin has a wealthy of backstory waiting to be uncovered. Her past memories with Umitsuki, the background behind her abandoning the stage, and her character growth arc as she rediscovers her passion for music are all perfect stepping stones laid out for this exclusive NTE diva.
Generally speaking, the main storyline needs to wrap up a bit before certain side plots can unfold, such as a diva's character arc. Because of this, I believe Akane Rin won't debut until Version 1.4. I wonder if she will turn out to be a highly versatile, must-have Meta Support, just like Astra Yao?
Phase 2 (Nitsa)

One of the two major trump cards NTE currently has up its sleeve. In terms of design intricacy, Nitsa ranks at the absolute top among all satellite characters. It is highly visible that Nitsa will likely have her own dedicated growth arc, starting as a reserve member and blooming from there—a certified marquee character spot.
Phase 2 (Elyms)

The Vice-Captain of E.T.D. Squad 6, whose release date will likely be further down the line. Elyms is a blue-haired young lady with an ice cream aesthetic atop her head and a predominantly white color scheme. Based on official livestream previews, she is estimated to feature dual-form mechanics and a transformation system similar to Shinku. While her kit remains unconfirmed, she will likely end up as an Aether or Psyche attribute support.
Alphard

The Chief's character model is incredibly intricate. However, as the highest-ranking authority figure in the current lore, the Chief will likely take a long time to finally be implemented. If I had to take a wild guess, we'll probably have to wait until Version 2.0 or beyond.
While Version 1.2 "Scarborough Fair" sets an unprecedented benchmark with Shinku's devastating Cosmos bursts and Iroi's dream-weaving support, the road ahead through Version 2.0 is stacked with incredible characters! From Zankou and Lingko's Overmark combo in 1.3 to heavy-hitters like Exe, Nitsa, and Chief Alphard down the line, strict resource management is more vital than ever.
