Exe arrives in Neverness to Everness Version 1.5 Phase 2 on December 2, 2026 as the second limited S-Class character of the update. He is a Chaos Esper (Plasma Arc) who plays as a ranged Main DPS and Summoner. Exe builds Frames through attacks and raises his Combat Rating (B → SSS) to generate Frames faster, then spends them to summon Digital Echoes for extra damage. His Ultimate puts him into the powerful Shader Compile state for massive burst potential.

Exe commands the Hand of Y to perform a 5-hit Basic Attack combo. The final hit can spend 10 Frames to export 1 Digital Echo.

Exe commands the Hand of Y to deal DMG, exporting up to 5 Digital Echos based on the Frames he currently holds.

Exe digitally reconstructs reality and enters the Shader Compile state, commanding the Hand of Y to unleash multiple attacks that deal heavy DMG to targets in an area. Based on the Frames he currently holds, he also exports multiple Digital Echos.
While in the Shader Compile state, all of Exe's attacks can spend Frames to export Digital Echos.

Hold Basic Attack to perform Basic Attack: Network Penetration.
While Exe is in his Ultimate's Shader Compile state, performing Basic Attack: Network Penetration locks onto the non-boss target with the lowest HP. If that target is below 15% HP, It is executed outright, and the Shader Compile state is extended.
Ultimate ≈ Basic Attack > Redirect Skill > Support Skill

Build Exe as a pure ranged Main DPS who benefits heavily from critical hits and Chaos damage amplification.
Exe can work with different teammates depending on your preferred damage style and available characters. The following three team compositions are recommended options for building him as the main DPS.
This team focuses on building around Exe as the primary damage dealer. Blackbird, Sakiri, and Linko complete the lineup, providing additional team synergy and combat support.
If you want Exe to take the leading role in your team, this is one of the main compositions to consider. Focus on optimizing his damage rotation and making sure he can take advantage of the team's available buffs and effects.
This lineup replaces Sakiri and Linko with Fadia and Iroi, offering another team option for players with different character rosters.
Exe remains the main damage dealer, while the other three characters support the overall team composition. This is a good alternative if you already have Blackbird, Fadia, and Iroi available and want to build around Exe without relying on the first lineup.

This composition uses Dafodill alongside Sakiri and Iroi to create an alternative lineup centered on Exe.
It is worth considering if you prefer a different team setup and have these characters available. As with the other compositions, Exe should remain the primary damage dealer, with the rest of the team helping him make the most of his damage windows.

Exe is a high-value main DPS for players who:
He is less urgent if your current main DPS already clear all content comfortably and you are saving for later characters. His signature Arc is highly recommended if you decide to invest fully.
