VALORANT is preparing for a major update with Patch 13.06, bringing the new Warden rifle, a revamped Agent Mastery system, competitive changes, and other gameplay improvements on September 22, 2026. At the same time, a new Agent has reportedly leaked ahead of her official reveal, giving players an early look at one of VALORANT's next major additions.
While Riot has already confirmed many of the upcoming features, details surrounding the new Agent are still unofficial. Here's everything currently known about the latest VALORANT leak and Patch 13.06.

The next VALORANT Agent has become one of the biggest topics in the latest leaks. A first look at the new female Agent has reportedly surfaced, although her name, abilities, and official role have not yet been revealed by Riot.

Current speculation suggests that she could be either an Initiator or Sentinel. However, this information comes from leaks and player speculation rather than an official announcement, so her final role could still be different.

The Warden is the biggest weapon addition coming with Patch 13.06. Riot describes it as a new automatic rifle designed to give players another option for holding long-range angles without switching to a sniper rifle.
The Warden costs 2,900 Credits, putting it in the same price tier as the Vandal and Phantom. Its most notable feature is a built-in 2x scope, while its high damage and strong first-shot accuracy are balanced by a slower firing speed and smaller magazine.
Warden Feature | Details |
|---|---|
Price | 2,900 Credits |
Weapon Type | Rifle |

Fire Rate | 6.5 rounds/sec |
Head Damage | 200 |

Agent Mastery is a new progression system that rewards the time and effort players put into their favorite Agents. By playing an Agent, players can earn Act Levels, Lifetime Levels, and Mastery Points, while Agent IDs provide new ways to showcase their progress and dedication.

Act Levels are a seasonal progression system that resets with each Act. Players can unlock temporary Portrait Upgrades, which visually display their current investment in an Agent.
These upgrades can also make it easier to see which Agents players are prioritizing during the Agent Select screen.

Lifetime Levels track a player's long-term investment in a specific Agent. Progressing through these levels unlocks an Agent-specific rewards track, giving players more ways to earn rewards tied to their favorite Agents.
Mastery Points (MP) are the new progression currency used to advance Agent Mastery. Players earn MP by spending time in matches with an Agent, with additional bonuses based on factors such as performance and match results.

Agent IDs are a new customization feature that lets players showcase their Agent progression. Players can equip earned modules such as Stances, Backgrounds, and Tracked Stats to personalize their Agent ID and appearance across the game.
With Agent Mastery launching on September 22, the existing Agent Gear system will transition into the new Agent Mastery rewards track.
Players will keep everything they have already unlocked, and all existing Agent Gear rewards will remain available through the new system. Riot is also adding new rewards for every Agent at launch, giving players more ways to celebrate and showcase their investment in their favorite Agents.
Patch 13.06 also includes several smaller changes beyond the Warden and Agent Mastery system.
One particularly useful quality-of-life change is the ability to enter the Practice Range while waiting in the matchmaking queue, allowing players to warm up instead of sitting in the main menu.
Riot is also making improvements to competitive features, while more progression and profile-related changes are planned for the future.
As for Gauntlet: Glitched, the 16-player experimental mode will also arrive with Patch 13.06 on September 22, but we've covered its gameplay and mechanics separately in our dedicated guide.
The latest VALORANT update combines several major additions, with the Warden rifle and Agent Mastery system arriving on September 22, 2026, while the next Agent remains one of the most closely watched upcoming leaks. Riot has confirmed that the new Agent is coming after Champions, but her official role and abilities have yet to be revealed.
