Make Farewells More Beautiful - Castorice's Signature Light Cone

Stats: Has a base ATK of 589, DEF of 396, and HP of 1270.

Ability: The ability is named as "Engrave" and it boosts up your max HP by 30%. When you or your memosprite take damage while you're wearing this, you and your memosprite ignore 30% of the target's DEF whenever you're going to damage them, for two turns. When your memosprite dies, the ability boosts up your ATK gets boosted up by 12%. This effect only triggers once, with the trigger count resetting with every ultimate.

Synergy: The Light Cone is made just for Castorice. She is from Remembrance, and has great DPS. She summons her memosprites for doing AoE damage and doing debuffs. It also goes well with Mydei's summon focused kit, but goes best with Castorice's HP scaling mechanics.

Along the Passing Shore (5 Star, The Nihility) - Acheron's Signature

Stats: It has a base ATK of 635 at level 80, a base DEF of 396, and a base HP of 1,058. It also boosts the damage of the Ultimate by 24%, and normal damage by 24%.

Ability: It increases your CRIT damage by 36% and also inflicts empty bubbles upon the enemies whenever you hit them. The effect lasts for a single turn, but can be used for every single target, for every attack that you do.

Synergy: Archeon goes the best along with this Light Cone. It boosts up her Ultimate by stacking buffs on it, and Nihility debuff synergy when there are supports like Jiaoqiu. It also supports Welt when it comes to SPD control.

Life Should Be Cast to Flames (5-Star, Erudition) - Anaxa's Signature

Stats: Has a base ATK of 582, base DEF of 529, and a base HP of 952, all being at level 80. When your turn starts, it regens energy. When the target gets damaged by you, it decreases their DEF by 12% for 2 turns

Ability: It is called Smelt, it restores 10 Energy in the start of every turn. If the enemy has any weakness debuff applied on it, this increases the damage dealt to it by at least 60% (100% at level 5). When the enemy gets hit by the attacker, the target loses 12% of their DEF for two turns.

Synergy: Built for Anaxa, an Erudition DPS who excels in AoE damage. Also works for Himeko or Argenti in Break-heavy teams but loses most of its impact without Anaxa.

Baptism of Pure Thought (5-Star, The Hunt) - Dr. Ratio

Stats: Has a base ATK of 582, DEF of 529, and HP of 952, all at level 80.

Ability: Boosts your CRIT damage. Each enemy debuff- up to 3- increases your damage by up to 12%. The Ultimate applies a 15% DEF reduction for 2 turns.

Synergy: It is completely designed for Dr. Ratio. It enhances his single-target DPS when in debuff-heavy teams.

Those Many Springs (5-Star, Nihility) - Jiaoqiu's Signature

Stats: With a base ATK 582, DEF of 529, base HP of 952, at level 80.

Ability: At level 5, the ability Boosts boosts the Effect Hit Rate by 100%. After you use a basic attack, skill, or Ultimate to attack, there is a 60% chance you leave the enemy "Unarmored". When the enemy is Unarmored, they take 18% more damage for 2 turns. There is a chance to convert the "Unarmored" state to "Cornered". This state makes the enemy take 22% more damage.

Synergy: It is best when put with Jiaoqiu's role in Acheron's Nihility teams. Also works with DoT teams- amplifying the debuff. It is less effective when it comes to standalone DoT units.

Conclusion

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.2 adds Light Cones which completely redefine your team's potential. Along with Castorice's and Acheron's as the top picks- for their high DPS boosts, Anaxa's is also a strong choice. Skip Jiaoqiu's Light Cones unless you use their best set ups. You should hoard Jades to get S Tier banners, and should farm them, while using your Oneiric Shards for extra pulls. Choose wisely, and let these Light Cones light up your game.
