Choosing Your Partner and the New Kalos Megas

unnamed_resized.jpg

At the start of the GO Pass period you complete a branching Timed Research and choose Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie. This choice determines which new Mega Evolution you work

toward:

  • Mega Chesnaught
  • Mega Delphox
  • Mega Greninja

The free GO Pass track gives enough Mega Energy for one Mega Evolution of your chosen partner. The Deluxe track provides additional Energy so you can raise its Mega Level. Catching your starter in the habitats and completing Mega Raids is the fastest way to gather more Energy.

What Should You Focus On During the Weekend?

images.jfif

1. Mega Mewtwo X and Y first

These give the best combination of Mega Energy, Special Background chance, and strong attackers.

2. Habitat Mega Raids that fill gaps

Target the ones that give you useful attackers or the Special Background you still need.

3. Your chosen Kalos starter

Catch them in every habitat and keep doing Mega Raids to build Energy and Mega Level.

4. GO Pass progress

Claim the free track rewards early so you don’t miss limited-time items and encounters.

5. Inventory management

Unlimited Remote Raids and extra Mega CP mean you will burn through balls, potions, and revives quickly.

Preparing PokéCoins for Unlimited Remote Raids

Mega Finale removes the Remote Raid limit for two full days. Players who want to stay home and still clear a large number of Super Mega and Mega Raids will go through Remote Raid Passes quickly.

Many Trainers top up PokéCoins in advance so they don't run out during key windows. TOPUPlive currently offers PokéCoins packages with discounts reaching up to 63% off standard in-app prices (especially on the larger 14,500-coin packs).
