Greeting, Trailblazer!
Finally, we've reached the end of the 3.x versions and welcomed a new character, The Dahlia—but don't rush to pull her just yet. First, check whether you have Fugue.
Much of the value The Dahlia brings to Firefly teams works in synergy with Fugue. Without Fugue, that improvement is noticeably diminished.
So before pulling for The Dahlia, you may want to take a closer look at Fugue—her skills, Light Cone options, Eidolons, and materials. And if you're still unsure about how to build her effectively, this guide is here to help.
This guide will walk you through Fugue's best build setup, including her Signature Lightcone, relics, and team comps.

| HSR 3.8 Fugue Overview
Fugue

Combat Type: Fire / Path: The Nihility
HP: 1125/ ATK: 582/ DEF: 558 / SPD: 102 / Max Energy:130
A tactful foxian girl, whose appearance, name, and identity have all been stolen.
The fates have left her a thread of chance at survival, yet the brand of Destruction still writhes with anticipation.
The one in a fugue who has experienced life and death and is given a new life... when would she be able to return home?
Fugue is a Nihility character centered around the toughness break and weakness break system.
Her core gameplay lies in applying special debuffs with her Skill to amplify the team's damage and benefits against enemy weaknesses, while her Ultimate further enhances or detonates these effects.
She is not a main DPS, but rather a system-oriented support/sub-DPS, excelling at improving the overall efficiency and tempo of break-focused teams.
Overall, if you're running a Firefly Super Break team, Fugue is absolutely worth pulling—she'll greatly enhance Firefly's damage.
| HSR 3.8 Fugue Lightcone
>Signature Lightcone
Long Road Leads Home

Rarity: ★★★★★ Path: The Nihility
HP: 953 / ATK: 476 / DEF: 662
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100%. When an enemy target's Weakness gets broken, there is a 100% base chance to inflict the "Charring" state on it, which increases its Break DMG taken by 18 / 21 / 24 / 27 / 30%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack 2 time(s).
> Alternative:
Never Forget Her Flame

Rarity: ★★★★★ Path: The Nihility
HP: 1164.2 / ATK: 529.20 / DEF: 463.05
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60% / 75% / 90% / 105% / 120%. When entering combat, increases Break DMG dealt by the wearer and another teammate who triggered combat by 32% / 42% / 52% / 62% / 72%. If there is no teammate who triggered combat, applies this effect to the wearer and the teammate with the highest Break Effect. Effects of the same type cannot be stacked. When the wearer applies Weakness to an enemy target, recovers 1 Skill Point. This effect can only trigger once, and trigger count resets when using Ultimate.
Solitary Healing

Rarity: ★★★★★ Path: The Nihility
HP: 1058.4 / ATK: 529.20 / DEF: 396.90
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% . When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases DoT dealt by the wearer by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48% , lasting for 2 turn(s). When a target enemy suffering from DoT imposed by the wearer is defeated, regenerates 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 Energy for the wearer.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat

Rarity: ★★★★ Path: The Nihility
HP: 952.6 / ATK: 476.28 / DEF: 330.75
>Effect:
When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already "Ensnared," then there is a 60% / 70% / 80% / 90% / 100% base chance to "Ensnare" the hit enemy. "Ensnared" enemies' DEF decreases by 12% / 13% / 14% / 15% / 16% for 1 turn(s).
Overall, aside from her signature Lightcone, Fugue's best match is The Dahlia's signature Light Cone, Never Forget Her Flame. Beyond that, there aren't many strong options.
Solitary Healing provides Break Effect efficiency along with solid 5★ base stats, while Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat offers some DEF reduction, though its impact is relatively minor after dilution.
If you haven't previously pulled Fugue or her signature Light Cone, I would recommend stopping at E0S0 and saving your remaining pulls for The Dahlia or new characters in Version 4.0.

| HSR 3.8 Fugue Team Comps
In Version 3.8, there isn’t much room to discuss Fugue’s team options. She is mainly used as a support for Firefly, or occasionally slotted into Acheron teams. As for teams built around Boothill, Rappa, or Anaxa, their overall performance is relatively weak in the current version, so pulling Fugue specifically for them is not recommended.
At present, Firefly’s strongest team is: Firefly + Fugue + The Dahlia + Lingsha

If you don’t have The Dahlia or Lingsha, I recommend running either Firefly + Harmony Trailblazers + Fugue + Gallagher, or Firefly + Ruan Mei + Fugue + Gallagher.

As for Acheron teams, you can run Acheron + Fugue + Jiaoqiu + Aventurine / Dan Heng PT.Fugue helps Acheron stack Crimson Knot more quickly, allowing you to cast her Ultimate more frequently.

| Conclusion
Overall, Fugue is a well-defined, system-dependent support character. If you are running a Firefly Super Break team, she is absolutely worth pulling. Otherwise, stopping at E0S0 and saving resources for The Dahlia or upcoming Version 4.0 characters is the more efficient choice.
