As rare limited-time Support Agents, let's first compare the buffs Astra Yao and Sunna bring to a team.
Astra Yao

- 20% DMG Increase
- 25% CRIT DMG
- When using her Ultimate, she restores 2950 HP to the entire team and provides two special Link Skills.
Sunna
- Can deploy an Ether Veil
- 30% Vulnerability (Imbalance DMG taken)
- 1100 ATK.
From this comparison, we can see that the boosts provided by Astra Yao and Sunna are roughly comparable—and Astra Yao even edges out slightly. However, Sunna has one very important role: opening an Ether Veil. Starting with Ye Shunguang, it’s clear how crucial Ether Veils are for a team’s damage and rotation. Astra Yao’s biggest weakness is that she cannot deploy an Ether Veil.

If you're a veteran player with some playtime: Choose whether to pull for Astra Yao or Sunna based on your roster.
