Released on April 25th, 2024, Lily is a Mythic Assassin in the game of Brawl Stars. Along with her high health and quick movement speed, she also deals potentially high damage. Her abilities are highly dependable on the person's skills and she can be unlocked by using Brawl Star Gems, which you can easily get from TOPUPlive. You can either dominate or be at the bottom. This article will guide you through her skillset and you will learn how good she is in the game.
Lore
Lily used to be a witch who was obsessed with plants and curious about everything. While chasing a firefly, she found herself in the enchanted forest where a carnivorous plant ended up mutating her and she became a human-plant-firefly hybrid. As they say, Curiosity kills. It did kill her but she came back as the strange hybrid she is today. Guess, satisfaction brought her back. Another mystery point is that she is the second brawler related to the enchanted forest, the other being Cordelius.

Star Powers
Lily's two Star Powers can be quite effective in the right scenario. A refined explanation of her Star Powers is given below:
Spiky: This star power of Lily's allows her to trigger teleport while giving a 50% boost on her next attack. She can deal up to 1,060 damage but this is only applicable to a single target. The single target thing might be annoying but it allows you to finish the enemy in one strike, that's if they are low.
Vigilance: Lily's Vigilance boosts her movement speed by 15% when her enemies are within the circle of her Super-charge. This boost does not stack but it could work effectively with other speed buffs. So as long as your enemies are within the super-charge circle, you can enjoy being mini-flash.
#Another point to be noted is that her Hypercharge can be bought using gems in Brawl Star. Other methods might require grinding so its best to just buy Brawl Star Gems.
Gadgets
Gadgets are unique abilities that a Brawler can equip and use in battles. They offer special effects and buffs and can only be unlocked when a Brawler reaches level 7. Just like any other Brawler, Lily also has two special gadgets that are listed below:
Vanish: This gadget allows Lily to enter the solo shadow realm for 3 seconds. Entering this realm makes her invulnerable and invisible to enemies, although she is visible to allies. She can also join Cordelius's realm with this. You need to wait for 22 seconds to use this gadget again.
Repot: Lily's repot converts the next Super into a lob that allows Lily to teleport where it lands. It also deals splash damage to the enemies, even if it misses them. This gadget can be quite useful due to its teleportation and "Imma deal damage either way". It has a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Lily's Strengths
As a Mythical Assassin, Lily has the following strengths:-
- Lily's teleport can be quite effective at ambushing the enemies as she can easily teleport behind them and use her Spiky to jab them. This trick can be ideal to eliminate a single target- that is if her damage is high and her target is low.
- Lily can be quite mobile and stealthy as her vanish allows her to escape and reposition, not to miss her invisibility.
- If lined up, she can multiple enemies at once with her piercing attack. The only condition is that her enemies need to be in a straight line in a tight corridor.
- Her trait automatically charges her super, which allows her to near the enemies without taking damage, hence providing a way for more engagements.
Lily's Weaknesses
Like every coin has two sides, a brawler also has its weaknesses and Lily's are listed below:
- Unfortunately, Lily is super-dependent (really dependent on her Super). Without it, she's quite just a colorful flower, waiting to be stomped on.
- Her main attack also lacks range which means that she needs to be close to her enemies to land hits, which can be quite dangerous.
- Her teleport may be useful but only in noob lobbies. The pros already know when she's gonna teleport and can easily counter-attack.
- Lily's damage output is above average and she has trouble taking down tank-heavy targets who have high health.
- Without splash, her attacks, if missed are utterly useless.
Role in Metas
Despite having broken mechanics, Lily plays a not-so-important but efficient role in Meta.
Maps: Although she rarely has a good win rate on any map, she can be played well on maps like Knockout, Belle's Rock, or Bounty.
Gem Grabber: Lily can be quite useful when it comes to eliminating the gem carriers. Her vanish allows her to destroy the carrier before vanishing.
Solo Showdown: Lily's teleport, along with her vanish, can lead to surprising eliminations, although it requires a lot of map awareness.
Synergy with other Brawlers
Lily can play well when in synergy with these Brawlers:
- Cordelius (duo realms tactics come in handy)
- Melodie (Melodie distracts and Lily flanks)
- Max (enhances speed boost by Vigilance effect)
- Gene (pulls enemies in line for Lily's piercing attack)
- Pearl (softens the enemies, Lily finishes them up)
Conclusion
With a win rate of 57.2% and a usage rate of 1.27%, Lily can be seen as a viable agent in Brawl Stars who can make it to the B-tier. She isn't really dominant but just good enough in the right hands. A total of 10M picks have been recorded up until now. Her Star Power and Gadgets can be quite strong but compared to the everchanging meta, she lacks a lot of stuff. She can be better if the developers decide to fix her broken (actually broken mechanics). They could start by increasing her range (even a single tile would do the job). But as of now, Lily is a B-tier Brawler, who can reach A-tier at her max potential.
