With the upcoming 5.7 update, Genshin Impact introduces Dahlia, a 4-star Hydro Catalyst user and Attack Speed Support designed to synergize with melee-focused teams. Derived from datamined leaks and official hints, here’s a breakdown of her skills and role:

Basic Information

Vision: Hydro

Weapon: Catalyst

Role: Sub-DPS / Support (Focus on Attack Speed & Shielding)

Constellation: Rainfall Constellation

Skill Details

1. Normal Attack: Ripple Waltz

A 4-hit Catalyst combo dealing Hydro DMG. Charged Attack consumes stamina for a AOE Hydro blast.

Note: Optimized for triggering Hydro reactions (e.g., with Cryo teams like Silkirk).

2. Elemental Skill: Misty Gale

Press: Summons a small Hydro tornado, pulling enemies and applying Hydro. Functions as a "mini-Venti" for exploration, lifting players for short glides.

Hold: Generates a Hydro shield scaling with HP, absorbing 150% of Dahlia’s Max HP and granting 15% Attack Speed to all party members for 12s

   CD: 12s (Press) / 18s (Hold).

3. Elemental Burst: Aqua Serenade

Creates a rotating Hydro field around Dahlia, dealing periodic Hydro DMG and extending the duration of her shield. Allies within the field gain 10% Attack Speed and 20% Hydro RES shred.

   Cost: 40 Energy / Duration: 15s

Passive Talents

Lullaby of the Deep: When Dahlia’s shield is active, all party members gain 8% Crit DMG.

Tidal Reverie: After using Elemental Burst, Dahlia regenerates 6 Energy for every 3s the shield remains intact, up to 18 Energy.

Hidden Talent: In overworld, swimming stamina consumption reduces by 20%

Constellations

C1: Misty Gale’s shield strength increases by 30%

C4: Hydro field from Burst now grants 15% All-Elemental RES shred.

C6 (Full Constellation): Attack Speed bonus from skills increases to 25%, and shield duration is extended by 6s

Practical positioning

Dahlia serves as a budget-friendly alternative to Xingqiu for Cryo-Hydro teams (e.g., Silkirk’s comp). Her Attack Speed buffs (max 25% at C6) and HP-scaling shield make her ideal for Normal attack-centric DPS, while her mobility-focused Skill shines in exploration. Unlike Xingqiu, she lacks off-field Hydro application but offers unique utility for shield-reliant strategies.

※Note: 0-2 constellations provide full core functionality; C6 is a quality-of-life upgrade for dedicated teams.
