| PUBGM 4.2 Buffed Weapons : Who’s the New "Stat Monster"?
This update features balance adjustments to multiple underused and mainstream weapons, aiming to break the "M416 dominance" era.
SCAR-L: Epic Buff
• Changes: Slightly reduced vertical recoil and increased the minimum damage dropoff threshold at medium to long ranges.
• Review: With a compensator equipped, the SCAR-L now offers better recoil control than the M416, emerging as the new top choice in the 5.56mm rifle category.
UMP45: Close-Range Dominance
• Changes: Increased base damage and improved accuracy while moving and shooting.
• Review: In close-quarters combat (CQB) scenarios like building fights, the UMP45’s burst damage now allows it to go head-to-head with high-tier submachine guns, making it the ultimate choice for vehicle ambushes and building assaults.
DMR Adjustments: Improved Full-Auto Performance
• The recoil recovery speed of both the SLR and Mini14 has been slightly increased. This means your crosshair will reset to its original position faster during rapid tapping.

| Primewood Genesis Themed Mode Arrives!
"Blend old and new" across 5 urban areas in Erangel—maintain familiar pacing while introducing new changes to roots, vines, and natural mechanics. Encounter new buildings, themed gardens, and PvE Purification Zones in classic locations, making looting and combat more dynamic and engaging.
| Urban Area Overhauls
Hospitals, Pochinki, Sosnovka Military Base, Yasnaya Polyana, and Mylta have all been revamped. In addition to new structures, corrupted flora will spawn in urban zones; defeating these plants unlocks crates wrapped in corrupted vines.

| Corrupted Swamps
Zones brimming with dense evil energy on the map feature bizarre flowers that threaten the surrounding area. Defeat the Corrupted Mega Flower in these zones to unlock crates and earn abundant supplies.

| Themed Events

Primewood Purification
All players are invited to participate in the Primewood Purification event. Collect energy to purify corruption, awaken the life force of ancient trees, and restore lush canopies and greenery.
Participation Methods
- Any of the following actions will contribute to the server-wide purification progress:
- Clear corrupted flowers in Tree Sanctuaries to cut off the source of corruption.
- Defeat Corrupted Mega Flowers in Corrupted Swamps to gain massive supplies and Purification Energy.
- Plant Sacred Fruits to accumulate energy and revitalize ancient trees.
Purification Rewards
• When the server-wide purification progress reaches 50%, the Bramblewood Scorpion vehicle will be unlocked in matches. It features burrowing and attack capabilities, adding strategic depth and diversity to the battlefield.
• When the server-wide purification progress reaches 100%, the Targeting Vines item will be unlocked in matches. This game-changing (game-changing item) can turn the tide of battle, serving both offensive and defensive purposes.
* Server purification progress can be checked in the "Home - Theme System" or Event Center.

| Smart Ally: Barkle the Treant
Following the popularity of the Penguin Ally in v4.1, the Treant Ally Barkle is now here. He will help block damage, heal, and find supplies in combat, acting as a true silent guardian.

Note: Barkle only spawns in Erangel and Livik. Halfway through the match, locate Barkle on the map and interact with him to invite him to join your team. Once allied, you can issue commands via voice chat or the command wheel, and Barkle will execute them.
| Themed Vehicles
Bramblewood Scorpion (2-Seater)

The Bramblewood Scorpion's stealth capabilities add greater strategic depth to vehicle combat, helping players better seize opportunities, set ambushes, or escape danger by combining traversal and combat functions.
Acquisition: Find the Scorpion Horn item in the game to summon the Bramblewood Scorpion.
Skills:
• Burrow: Submerge underground for fast movement. The driver and passengers are invulnerable to attacks while burrowed. Burrowing consumes stealth energy; the scorpion will be forced to resurface when energy runs out or its tail is damaged.
• Pincer Attack: Swing both pincers simultaneously to attack enemies in front.
• Spike Bomb: Aim and fire at targets to deal area-of-effect (AoE) damage and apply a slow debuff to the area.
• Launch Slide: Passengers can use this slide to eject from the scorpion’s cabin and slide briefly on the ground. You can jump freely while sliding or cancel the slide at any time.
Cherry Blossom Deer (2-Seater)

An elegant cherry blossom deer that leaves a trail of flowers while running. Share a moment of tranquility and beauty with teammates amid intense battles to relieve stress.
Feature: Lush plants grow in its footsteps, leaving temporary flower trails.
| Themed Items
Targeting Vines

Centered on control and counterplay, this item provides controllable vines that form shields at critical moments, restrict enemy movement, turn the tide of battle, and create windows for teammates to attack or counterattack.
Acquisition: Unlocked in matches when Primewood Purification progress reaches 100%.
Skills (Rare Skill Item):
• Once acquired, it can be activated immediately from the themed item slot to summon controllable vines. Slide the screen to control the direction of the vines, blocking enemies or providing protection.
• Shield: After activating the skill, a one-time shield is generated around the user for the duration of the skill. The shield can block damage but will shatter after sustaining sufficient damage.
• Entangle: Tap the Entangle button to generate a red circle at the crosshair. Enemies or vehicles within the red circle must evacuate immediately, otherwise they will be trapped. Trapped players can rapidly press the break-free button to escape faster. Teammates of trapped players can also attack the entangling vines to help their allies break free sooner.
• Cooldown: The skill ends immediately and enters cooldown when the duration expires or the shield’s health is depleted. You can also cancel the skill early by tapping the item slot again.
Florawings

Florawings grant players the ability to quickly reposition for attacks and tactical evasion, providing substantial combat advantages through three-dimensional movement.
Skills (Rare Skill Item):
After equipping, you can check the equipment status in the backpack’s item tab, and wings will be displayed on the character’s back.
Movement: A permanent skill button will appear on the right side of the screen after equipping, offering four modes: Accelerate/Low-Altitude Flight/High-Altitude Flight/Flash. Tap the button and use the joystick + screen sliding to control direction. Flight and Flash consume energy; the character will descend when energy is exhausted. Severe collisions or environmental restrictions (e.g., indoor/low-ceilinged areas) will forcefully interrupt flight.
Harassment: Teleport to a location and trigger pollen flash to disturb enemies, temporarily blinding affected targets.
| Themed Firearm: Overgrowth - Honey Badger

Following the Kar98K from the previous update, this new themed Honey Badger takes center stage. This weapon can switch between rifle ammunition and explosive rounds, and also features health regeneration. It allows players to freely switch between long-range and close-range attack, defense, and support, delivering a refreshing gaming experience.
Acquisition: Exclusive to the themed mode, with a themed appearance and loot (loot effects).
Skills:
• Health & Energy Regeneration: Restore a certain amount of health and energy within 5 seconds after knocking down or eliminating an enemy. Triggering this effect multiple times in a short period will refresh the regeneration timer.
• Attribute Bonus: Remain stationary with the weapon equipped for a few seconds to gain bonuses to firearm spread and stability. Moving will cancel the bonus.
• Morph: The firearm can switch to firing explosive rounds. Hitting enemies deals explosive damage and applies a slight slow debuff for several seconds. Each shot in this mode consumes multiple rounds.
| Gameplay Mechanics
Prime Eye
The Sacred Tree is an interactive object. You can overlook the entire battlefield situation, act as a commander, use skills to deploy formations, and achieve brilliant counterattacks through team coordination.

Gameplay:
Head to the Ishtar Gate on the map, enter the Heart of the Ancient Tree dungeon, and compete for the Prime Eye artifact. After obtaining the Prime Eye, use it to activate a bird’s-eye view of Erangel and unleash various Sacred Tree skills to control combat: Barrier, Teleport, Heal, and Corrupted Flower.
Skills:
• Barrier: Summon an opaque barrier that blocks gunfire. Can be used for advancing, holding positions, or covering teammates while moving.
• Teleport: Place two portals for rapid movement, enabling highly mobile attacks and retreats.
• Heal: Generate a healing zone in a designated area that continuously restores health. Downed teammates can be revived within this zone, enhancing the team’s combat sustainability.
• Corrupted Flower: Spawn a Corrupted Flower at the target location, dealing continuous damage to enemies within range. Defeating it yields high-value supply rewards.
Cross-Match Planting
Previously, each match was an independent experience lacking persistence between games. Therefore, we introduce the Sacred Tree-themed cross-match planting and harvesting system. The fruits you plant in one match will ripen in subsequent matches, bringing new goals and routes—so looting supplies is no longer just about searching.

Sacred Bud/Sacred Fruit: Plant and Harvest Supplies Across Matches
• Plant: Pick up a Sacred Bud in-match and choose a safe location to plant it. This will be the harvesting point later on.
• Harvest: After playing a certain number of matches on the map, the Sacred Bud will absorb enough energy and mature into a Sacred Fruit. Interact with it to claim supply rewards. Sacred Fruits come in three qualities, with Gold Fruits having a chance to summon the treant ally Barkle to fight alongside you.
• Contention: Ripe fruits are visible to all players in the match, and other players can pick them first. If a player takes another’s fruit, their location will be exposed to the fruit’s owner for a period of time. Be wary of retaliation.
Additionally, the highly anticipated v3.1 Skyhigh Spectacle themed mode will make a surprise return in early February. Everyone is welcome to embark on a new adventure above the clouds!
Important! Version Compatibility & Notes
1. The update package is approximately 2.8GB; reserve at least 5GB of storage space to avoid installation failures.
2. For mid-to-low-end devices running the Primewood Genesis mode, it is recommended to lower the graphics quality and frame rate to ensure smooth performance.
3. After the weapon adjustments, take time to re-familiarize yourself with the recoil patterns of 7.62mm rifles, and control your engagement distance when using shotguns.
4. The Glacix Arbiter shard acquisition cycle in Metro Royale is approximately 2-3 weeks; free-to-play players should plan their game time reasonably.
5. Summer event rewards are time-limited—prioritize redeeming exclusive outfits and special effects to avoid missing out.
