You can play as the Saurian by indwelling in them.
How To Indwell a Saurian in Genshin Impact?
Indwelling is purely an exploration feature in the game. This feature allows you to become one with the Saurians. You gain their abilities and their appearance. With this change you can explore far and wide, unlocking other parts of the game that you could not interact with before.
The Saurians can get into a Spiritsconce state. The Spiritsconce state, under certain conditions, can be indwelt by you, the Traveller. So, how do you indwell in a Saurian?

So, by smashing Pulverite, you can explore parts of the map that you previously could not explore. What can you do when you are indwelling a Tatankasaurus?
- The first ability of the Tatankasaurus is to Jump. It does a small jump upwards, nothing fancy, but very practical. It does not require any Phlogiston and you can use it while charging up.
- A Normal attack in the form of a Downward Stomp. When attacking while indwelling a Tatankasaurus, you will stomp your legs. It deals Electro damage to the opponent. To do a normal attack you do not have to use Phlogiston and you can use it while charging.
- A variant of the normal attack in Genshin Impact is when the player is airborne. Similarly, when a Tatankasaurus is airborne and attacks an enemy, it plunges into the enemy. The plunge attack does Electro damage on impact with the ground.
- Clicking the sprint button will perform a Quick Charge. It is similar to a goat's attack. The sprint costs 10 Phlogiston and deals Electro damage.
