PUBG Xeno Point: Everything You Need to Know About the New PvE Roguelite Mode

Time: 2026-04-08 15:55:17

PUBG just dropped its biggest shake-up in years. Update 41.1 (live on PC today, April 8, 2026, and console April 16) brings Xeno Point — a fresh co-op PvE roguelite mode that ditches battle royale chaos for squad-based alien defense on a reimagined Miramar. No more 100-player drops. Instead, you and three teammates raid a sci-fi Mothership, upgrade on the fly, and push deeper into escalating waves until you face the final boss, the Architect.

What Are Xeno Points?

Xeno Points are the mode’s scoring system (Fragment Points + Skill Points). You earn them by:

  • Killing aliens
  • Clearing objectives
  • Pushing deeper into runs

They matter most right now for the $100,000 Xeno Point Streamer Challenge (PC: April 8–15, console April 16–24). Top players on the Play Ranking and streamers on the watch-hour leaderboard split the prize pool. Viewers watching registered streams can even earn free in-game drops.

How Xeno Point Works?

You spawn in a futuristic hub on the Mothership.

Before each run, spend resources to:

  • Unlock permanent upgrades on a massive skill tree
  • Power up super abilities (think bullet shields, drone swarms, or orbital strikes)
  • Craft items and pick your loadout

Once inside the alternate Miramar zone, it’s pure roguelite action: loot crates fast for weapons, armor, and Skill Points, clear alien waves, choose paths that branch into tougher challenges, and evolve your squad run after run. Die? No problem — your progress carries over, so every attempt makes you stronger.

The goal? Survive longer, rack up higher scores, and eventually take down the Architect in a multi-phase boss fight. It’s challenging, replayable, and built for squad coordination.

What's Special About Xeno Point

  • Team-focused PvE — No third-partying. Just you, your squad, and aliens getting stronger.

  • Roguelite depth — Permanent progression + run-to-run variety keeps it addictive.

  • New content drop — Update 41.1 also adds destructible terrain on Erangel and fresh attachments.

  • Visual flair — Sci-fi Mothership, alien enemies, and new cosmetics (including the Stellar Blade collab and Progressive Kar98 skin).

Pros who tested it say the key is communication, grabbing crates early, and upgrading Supers fast. If you hear beeping — run. Bad things happen if you ignore it.

Quick Tips to Dominate Early Runs

  • Prioritize offense or defense on the skill tree based on your playstyle.
  • Loot aggressively — good gear makes later waves way easier.
  • Coordinate Supers for boss phases.
  • Play with a full squad for best results.

Conclusion

Xeno Point isn’t replacing battle royale — it’s expanding PUBG into something new while staying true to the gunplay you love.Ready to dive in? Update your game, squad up, and see how far you can push.
