You cannot permanently kill the Sonivore in Once Human. This jelly-like Deviant is designed as an unkillable sound-based threat that guards high-value loot. After the May 2026 update (Version 2.3.8), it can take damage and be stunned, but it recovers HP while stunned and cannot be finished off. The real goal is controlling it long enough to loot its protected crates and leave safely.

Crouch-walk past it. Crouching makes you nearly silent — the Sonivore ignores you even if you can hear your own footsteps. Use this whenever there is space to slip by.
When it blocks a path or crate:
You can now deal damage. Lower its HP enough and it stuns, recovers HP, and resets aggro. Use the stun window to reposition, loot, or escape. Do not stand and fight — it still cannot die and will resume chasing the damage source.

Key Rule: Never shoot it directly unless you plan to stun and immediately leave. Damage locks its attention on you.
Master these sound tricks and the Sonivore turns from a frustration into a predictable obstacle. Loot the good crates, then move on.Need better gear, ammo, or Crystgin to stay prepared for pollution-zone runs? Top up safely and quickly on TOPUPlive so your loadout is ready without the usual wait.
