▍Genshin Impact 4-Star Characters in 5.7

Iansan

Iansan is an ATK-boosting support who performs exceptionally well under specific conditions. Crucially, her effectiveness is not universally maximal but rather performs exceptionally well under specific conditions. Extensive gameplay analysis confirms she achieves peak performance under very specific combat circumstances tied to team composition and elemental application.She is currently well-suited for characters like Varesa, Kinich, Chasca, Clorinde and any character whose primary damage source is Plunging Attacks, such as Gaming, Xiao, or plunge-focused Diluc. She offers fairly versatile utility.

At Constellation 6, she can provide an 810 flat ATK increase, a 30% ATK bonus, and a 25% DMG Bonus. Factoring in the 4-piece "The Brave" artifact set effect, this adds another 40% DMG Bonus. A C6 Iansan offers significantly more team damage potential than Bennett at his peak.

Her most important Constellations are C1, C2, C5, and C6. Players who are planning to get Pyro Archon constellations or pull on the Pyro Archon's banner should consider this a good opportunity to pull for Chevreuse's key Constellations.

Xiangling

Xiangling essentially requires at least Constellation 4. In Genshin Impact, the status of off-field Sub-DPS characters has always been highly regarded. When Xiangling successfully activates and maintains her Pyronado, its demonstrated Pyro application frequency and the considerable damage it deals within a specific burst damage window can even reach levels higher than the anticipated performance of the future Pyro Archon. Her Constellation 4 extends the duration of her Elemental Burst (Pyronado). Therefore, achieving C4 is an absolute necessity. Yaoyao demonstrates reliable performance as a Dendro healer and off-field Dendro applicator. She serves as a viable option for slotting into Quickbloom compositions. The character also functions as a substitute for Baizhu, with her burst healing capability even holding an advantage over Baizhu's in certain scenarios.

Within Bloom team, Yaoyao performs consistently well and is fully functional at Constellation 0. Higher Constellations only provide modest stat increases, offering no significant impact on her core mechanics.

In the current game version, due to the ongoing HP inflation of enemies, the damage output efficiency of Quickbloom team has shown signs of strain. Within this context, Yaoyao can be utilized as an elemental counter pick character for tackling the Imaginarium Theater. Raising her character level to 70 or above sufficiently meets the fundamental combat requirements for this role.

▍Genshin Impact 5-Star Weapons in 5.7

A Thousand Blazing Suns

Mavuika's signature weapon offers substantial stat bonuses, and its mechanics perfectly complement her damage-dealing capabilities. However, it doesn't outperform a Refinement 5 (R5) Serpent Spine by a significant margin.

For players who own Citlali and already possess an R5 Serpent Spine, pulling for the signature weapon is generally not recommended. The risk of obtaining unwanted weapons makes it inefficient. Instead, allocating these Primogems and Wishes toward obtaining Mavuika's Constellation 1 or Constellation 2 provides a significantly more consistent power increase.

Lumidouce Elegy

Emilie's signature weapon. This is an extremely specialized polearm, so it is not recommended for any character except her.

While it can be used by Arlecchino or Xiangling in Burning-focused teams, its effectiveness is sub-optimal and generally not cost-effective. It is only advisable to use this weapon if obtained unintentionally.

▍Genshin Impact 4-Star Weapons in 5.7

Flute, Rainslasher, Dragon’s Bane, Sacrificial Fragments, Rust

Dragon’s Bane is a budget-friendly 4-star weapon suitable for Hu Tao. However, it does not perform as well as Ballad of the Fjords. Players who have access to Ballad of the Fjords have no need to actively pull for Dragon’s Bane.

The Sacrificial Series is ideal for support characters who benefit from multiple uses of their Elemental Skill or have long Elemental Skill cooldowns. Sacrificial Fragments, in particular, provides a substantial Elemental Mastery stat, making it highly effective for support characters requiring high EM. Characters like Sucrose, Nahida, and Citlali can utilize it exceptionally well. It is the only valuable 4-star weapon in the current banner's weapon pool.

Among bows, only Yoimiya can effectively use the available 4-star options in this banner.

Weapons like The Flute and Rainslasher are only recommended for transitional use and not for long-term investment.
