The Usurper launched on September 14, 2026, with the first group of servers entering the new season. The initial season period is scheduled to run until December 7, 2026, with content unlocking progressively rather than arriving all at once.
Players entering Season 2 keep their existing progression, while unfinished Season 1 rewards can be compensated during the transition. The test-server footage also showed that players were moved into a new home port and a new unexplored map after entering Siwenna.

The biggest new mechanic is the Magnetic Storm Resistance system. Strong electromagnetic storms cover much of Siwenna, limiting how far fleets can safely travel.
Higher resistance allows players to:
The test version showed resistance becoming a key requirement for both exploration and combat. One test account reached 550 resistance, while deeper areas required even more.
The Electromagnetic Shield Tower is the main building used to increase storm resistance.
Upgrade progression requires Resistance Crystals, making this building one of the most important parts of early Season 2 development. In the test server, upgrading the tower directly increased Magnetic Storm Resistance.

The new Ore Refinery processes Magnetic Ore into Resistance Crystals, creating a new resource loop for Season 2 progression.
The test build also revealed several new resources:
Magnetic Ore → Resistance Crystals → Shield Tower upgrades
Other seasonal resources shown in the test version included Senna Metal and Trader Metal.
Season 2 adds two new stores:
The Supply Depot contains resources such as Resistance Crystals, Magnetic Ore, AP, Gold, and Speedups. Its inventory refreshes during the season, while Senna Metal must be spent before the shop closes.
Trader Treasury works differently, with inventory that does not refresh and rewards that can carry over into the next season.
Season 2 gradually introduces new activities as traders move deeper into Siwenna.

Pathbreaker Operation sends traders against Ascendancy Vanguard forces while opening new routes through the region.
The Aromabloom War focuses on valuable Aromabloom crates hidden in the Trader Network, putting Commerce Guilds into direct conflict with the Ascendancy Court.
Later, the Nexus Star becomes a critical strategic location. Its controlling Guild can gain the Star Overlord title, which grants exclusive benefits including access to Star Treasure.

Guilds earn Occupation Points by controlling ports and competing in seasonal activities. The preview shows several reward tiers, including:
Dominator → Titan → Trailblazer → Starlet
The test version also showed server rankings, Guild rankings, seasonal medals, and special rewards such as Space Profile Cards.
One important rule is that leaving a Commerce Guild before rewards are locked can affect eligibility for that Guild's seasonal rewards.
Season 2 also comes with additional activities outside the main Siwenna progression.
Shared Moonlight introduces a limited-time lunar exploration event, while Combat Lab adds a new ground-combat mode. These activities provide additional rewards alongside the main seasonal storyline and Guild competition.
The test version also revealed PvP regions on the new map. Players entering these areas can become fully attackable, making movement and Guild coordination especially important.
