Arknights: Endfield is preparing a new wave of long-term optimizations based on in-game data and player feedback. Most of these changes are scheduled to be implemented within the next two versions.
While the update list is extensive, three improvements stand out immediately: increased early-game Headhunting resources, Mini-Map support during Zipline traversal, and remote one-click collection for the Resource Recycling Station.
Headhunting Resource Boost: More Early-Game Recruitment Opportunities
Early progression is receiving important adjustments.
To address limited pull access in the early stages, the development team will:
- Add more acquisition channels for early Headhunting resources
- Expand access to the Integrated Trade Quota
- Optimize selected Action Manual missions
These changes aim to smooth early roster building and reduce progression pressure for new players.
Material stages are also optimized — squads can now enter material stages at full HP, removing unnecessary pre-battle recovery friction.

Exploration Upgrade: Mini-Map Now Visible While Using Ziplines
Exploration clarity is being significantly improved.
Players will now see a Mini-Map while using Ziplines, improving spatial awareness during traversal. In addition:
- Overlook Mode gains an increased maximum visible range
- PC players can exit Overlook Mode using the Esc key
The Zipline Mini-Map addition is one of the most noticeable quality-of-life upgrades, making vertical movement far more intuitive.

Remote Resource Recycling Station: One-Click Collection
Base management becomes more efficient with remote collection support.
Under certain conditions, the Resource Recycling Station can now be collected remotely with one click — reducing repetitive manual interactions.
Further base-related improvements include:
- Quick collection and auto-production scheduling in the Dijiang cabin
- Quick clue collection and auto-placement in the Dijiang Reception Room
- Reduced red-dot notification frequency
- Mail temporary storage for precious collectibles
For efficiency-focused players, this update significantly reduces routine management time.

Additional System & Combat Optimizations
Several other refinements are also confirmed:
- Improved Shared Device management and UI clarity
- Clearer distinction between self-built and shared Ziplines
- Manufacturing available outside the Integrated Core area
- Enhanced Simulation Space completion display with new related Etched Badges
- Clearer enemy attack indicators
- Improved squad auto-pickup and movement behavior
- Adjusted disengagement logic
Together, these changes improve system clarity, combat flow, and overall usability.
A Clear Quality-of-Life Direction
Although the optimization list is extensive, the core focus is clear:
- More accessible early Headhunting resources
- Stronger exploration guidance through Zipline Mini-Map support
- Faster base management via remote collection
Rather than changing core mechanics, this update strengthens progression pacing, exploration clarity, and operational efficiency — signaling a long-term commitment to refining the Arknights: Endfield experience.
