- Normal Attack – Thunder Horn Fist
Varesa performs up to 3 strikes, dealing Electro damage. Charged Attack consumes stamina to headbutt enemies, dealing Electro damage and leaping into the air. Plunge Attack deals AoE Electro damage on landing.
- Elemental Skill – Night Rainbow Dash
Varesa dashes forward, dealing Electro damage. Afterward, she gains 20 Night Soul points and the "Follow-Up Strike" effect, allowing a quick charged attack. Holding the skill enters Sudden Onrush, increasing speed and resistance to interruption.
- Elemental Burst – Flashing Glory Descends
Varesa leaps and performs a flying kick, dealing Electro AoE damage, restores Night Soul points, and enters Fiery Passion state. In this state, Elemental Burst damage is increased, and she can perform a special Plunge Attack.

If you already have an Electro Main DPS but lack a character who specializes in Plunge Attack damage, Varesa is still worth pulling for. She is great for dealing with bosses that require Plunge Attacks to break shields.

Varesa has a very flexible team composition, with no strict reliance on other 5-star characters, allowing you to mix and match freely. You can directly focus on Electro damage, pair up with Pyro teammates for Overloaded damage, or team up with Xianyun for Plunge Attack damage.
Here are some team compositions I recommend, hoping they can help you:
>Overload Team
If you're a new player or don't have many 5-star characters, I highly recommend this team:
Varesa + Iansan + Chevreuse + Traveler (Pyro).
Although, aside from Varesa and Traveler (Pyro), the rest are 4-star characters, the strength of this team is actually quite good. Chevreuse and Iansan both provide strong support capabilities, including significant attack boosts, Overload damage amplification, Electro & Pyro resistance reduction, and HP regeneration.
If you've pulled Mavuika, you can swap out Iansan and use Mavuika as the back-end Pyro damage dealer and burst sub-DPS. This will greatly increase your overall damage output.
>Electro Team
You can also form an Electro-Charged team with Hydro teammates. For example, you can make a Varesa + Fennina + Xilonen + Iansan team, which is great for dealing with small enemies that get knocked away by Overloaded reactions.
>Luna Electro Team
If you replace Iansan in the Electro-Charged team with Ineffa, you'll have a very strong Lunar Electro-Charged team for the current version: Varesa + Ineffa + Xilonen + Fennina. I highly recommend trying this out.
>Plunge Attack Team
If you've pulled Xianyun at C2 or above, you can also try forming a Plunge Attack Team with Varesa + Xianyun as the core. The remaining two characters can be freely selected. My recommendation is: Varesa + Xianyun + Xilonen + Iansan. This can be a fun playstyle, but this team lacks elemental reaction damage and relies mainly on direct character damage. Therefore, the team’s strength will depend on constellations, and the output potential might not be fully maximized without them.

Varesa's key Constellations are C2, C4, and C6. Recommended pulling priority for Constellations and Signature Weapon: C0R0, C2R0, C2R1, C6R1.
- C2: Each plunging attack can be followed up with her special(Q) skill, providing additional Energy restoration after landing.
- C4: After casting her Burst (Q), she gains a high-multiplier plunging attack, and the special Q further boosts her damage output.
- C6: Increases the CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG of Plunging Attacks and Elemental Burst (Q) while providing additional Energy regeneration. Holding her Elemental Skill (E) at maximum Nightsoul points enables seamless, infinite map traversal.
| Is Varesa's Signature Weapon Worth It?
Compared to the signature weapon, I would recommend pulling for C2 first, but of course, this depends on the situation.
If you're a new player, or if you're lacking Catalyst weapons, the signature weapon may take higher priority, as it will provide a better overall gameplay experience without competing for the use of 4-star weapons with other characters.
Of course, the damage increase and improved feel provided by the signature weapon are also definitely worth pulling for. Let's take a look at the signature weapon first:

ATK is increased by 28%. When you use a Plunging Attack, you will gain the "Dawn's First Hue" effect: Plunging Attack CRIT DMG is increased by 28%. When you use an Elemental Skill or Burst, you will gain the "Twilight's Splendor" effect: Plunging Attack CRIT DMG is increased by 40%. The two effects above each last for 15s, and will be canceled 0.1s after the ground impact hits a target.

Although Varesa's signature weapon provides a significant boost, it is not essential. These alternative weapons can achieve over 75% of the strength of the signature weapon. If you don't have any of these alternative weapons available, then pulling for the signature weapon might improve your gameplay experience.
