| The Athame Artis Introduction
At maximum level, the 5-Star Sword Athame Artis provides a 608 Base ATK and its secondary stat grants a 33.1% CRIT Rate.

CRIT DMG from Elemental Bursts is increased by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% .
When an Elemental Burst hits an opponent, gain the Blade of the Daylight Hours effect: ATK is increased by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% . Nearby active party members other than the equipping character have their ATK increased by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% for 3s.
Additionally, when the party possesses Hexerei: Secret Rite effects, the effects of Blade of the Daylight Hours are increased by an additional 75%. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is off-field.
In order to trigger the subsequent effects, a sustained Elemental Burst is required, as well as the presence of two Hexerei users in the team. This significantly reduces the versatility of the Athame Artis. For most Sword characters whose kit focuses on standard attack patterns, this weapon can essentially be treated as a base weapon with a Crit Rate sub-stat.
Therefore, besides Durin, the only characters that can effectively use the weapon are: Kamisato Ayato, Xingqiu, and Kaeya.

Durin is Best in Slot Weapon
Undeniably, Durin is the most compatible character for the Athame Artis. Even without considering the Attack bonus provided to teammates, his own sustained Elemental Burst alone guarantees full coverage of the weapon's buff.
Furthermore, with the enhancement from the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect, this value can be further increased. At Refinement Rank 1, the ATK bonus is 35%, and the Elemental Burst's Critical Damage is 28%. At Refinement Rank 5, the ATK bonus is doubled to 70%, and the Elemental Burst's Critical Damage reaches 56%.
Weapon Comparison
Among the four-star weapons, the Wolf-Fang performs well, and The Lion's Roar can also be used. Additionally, Harbinger of Dawn and Finale of the Deep are also good choices.
Other Recommended Characters
Kamisato Ayato: Regarding characters suitable for the Athame Artis besides Durin, it is primarily Ayato. His signature weapon provides a substantial amount of damage bonus. If a player's team already includes numerous DMG% buffs, leading to diminishing marginal returns, then Ayato's signature weapon offers virtually no advantage. In this scenario, using the Athame Artis results in a damage output very close to his signature weapon. Moreover, if Ayato's teammates benefit more from an Attack buff, the Athame Artis can even be slightly superior.
Xingqiu: In principle, the Athame Artis is not recommended for Xingqiu. However, it undeniable aligns well with his character stats. If players can resolve Xingqiu's Energy Recharge issues, they can absolutely use the Athame Artis, which will both increase his personal damage and provide an ATK buff to his teammates.
Kaeya: Kaeya's Elemental Burst only requires 60 Energy, and his passive talent provides an Energy recovery mechanic. Even if the weapon's passive does not receive the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect bonus, the base buff alone is quite outstanding.
