| Genshin 6.2 Spiral Abyss Floor 12 Requirement

Strategy Requirements

Upper Half

  • This current environment features both AoE and Single-Target challenges simultaneously. This is true for both 12-1 and 12-2, which also include multiple waves requiring switching targets.

  • 12-3, however, is purely Single-Target.

Therefore, our teams require a relatively strong capability to handle both AoE and Single-Target damage output.

Lower Half

  • This is a pure Single-Target environment, requiring strong Single-Target damage output. The enemies are essentially very tanky, stationary mobs.

For a strategic countermeasure, you need to utilize characters who can perform multiple Plunging Attacks to break the mechanism of the Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel.

Elemental Requirements

Upper Half

The Upper Half this time is almost entirely bound to the Pyro element. It is needed to break the Cryo Cicin Mage's shield, and it is also the only element that can break the Boss's mechanism.

Lower Half

The Geo element is highly recommended for the Lower Half, as it can break the mechanism of the 12-3 Boss. You can also bring Pneuma-aligned characters to paralyze it.

  • Pyro and Hydro Main DPS characters are not recommended, due to the presence of enemies with high Pyro Resistance and Hydro Immunity. However, Pyro DPS can be considered if paired with Resistance Reduction to mitigate the issue.

| Genshin 6.2 Spiral Abyss Floor 12 Enemies

Chamber One

Chamber Goal

Goal

★Remaining challenge time longer than 180 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 300 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 420 sec.

Upper Half

Wave 1~5

Recon Log Mek - Pneuma×5

(×5 Waves)

Bring characters with group damage. Don't use characters that are too Single-Target heavy.

Wave 6~10

Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage×3

(×5 Waves)

There are 15 Cryo Cicin Mages, and they also have the potential to summon Cryo Cicins.

Once they activate their shields, you can dispel the shields by using the Pyro element or by defeating all the Cryo Cicins they summon.

Similar to the wave 1~5, this requires AoE capabilities.

Wave 11

Construction Specialist Mek - Pneuma×1

There is one Construction Specialist Mek. It spawns in the back, so remember to switch your focus promptly.

This wave then transforms into a pure stationary enemy phase. However, it still poses little difficulty. The enemies have relatively strong attack suppression, so you can counter this by using Ranged Attacks or having high Interruption Resistance.

Lower Half

Wave 1

Furnace Shell Mountain

Weasel ×1

They have 50% Pyro Resistance. If you bring a Pyro Main DPS, be sure to bring a character who can provide Resistance Reduction, such as Citlali or Xilonen.

It is recommended to bring a single character who can perform consecutive Plunging Attacks to break the Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel's shield.

Wave 2

It is recommended to bring a single character who can perform consecutive Plunging Attacks to break the Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel's shield.

Alternatively, you can bring multiple characters with single Plunging Attacks, and collectively perform four Plunging Attacks within a short period of time.

Chamber Two

Chamber Goal

Goal

★Remaining challenge time longer than 180 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 300 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 420 sec.

Upper Half

Wave 1

Oprichniki Fireblade Shock Trooper×1

For the regular Fatui Skirmishers , just defeat them normally.

Oprichniki Line Trooper×2

Wave 2

Kairagi: Dancing Thunder×1

The Kairagi possess a "Bloodline" mechanism: If you defeat one of them, but fail to defeat the other one simultaneously or within a short period of time, the remaining Kairagi will recover 50% of its HP and enter an Empowered State. Pay attention and try to defeat both of them at the same time.

Kairagi: Fiery Might×1

Wave 3

Ruin Guard×1

This is a regular Single Enemy. Just defeat it normally.

Wave 4

Ruin Drake: Skywatch×1

Using Ranged or Bow characters will provide a greater advantage.

Bow characters can strike its weak point to cause it to fall.

Lower Half

Wave 1

Veteran Tainted Water-Spouting Phantasm×1

In this chamber, just be mindful of the Hydro immunity; otherwise, it is essentially a pure fighting a stationary enemy.

Furthermore, it is best to bring a Survival Support; otherwise, you can easily be defeated. Players with exceptionally good skill may choose to go without one.

Wave 2

Veteran Tainted Water-Splitting Phantasm×1

Chamber Three

Chamber Goal

Goal

★Remaining challenge time longer than 180 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 300 sec.

★Remaining challenge time longer than 420 sec.

Upper Half

Wave 1

Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress ×1

It has multiple attack forms but is essentially a large, clumsy, stationary enemy.

The Boss's normal state has 150% resistance to all damage types. Utilizing frequent Pyro attacks can cause it to change state by filling up the progress bar located below its HP bar, leading to a form transformation and creating better conditions for damage output.

Lower Half

Wave 1

Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek×1

It will summon a Geo Shield with a total of 20 units of shield strength, which is quite substantial. This Geo Shield cannot be broken by damage, it must be efficiently broken using Blunt Attacks or special mechanics.

While the Geo Shield is active, all resistances are increased by 200%. After the shield is broken, it will remain without the Geo Shield for at least 15 seconds. We need to focus on maximizing our damage output during this window.

  • The enemy is Ousia-aligned, so you can appropriately use the Pneuma-Ousia Annihilation mechanic to counter it.

  • The environment around the Boss features a Zero-Gravity field, which provides a possible shield-breaking option for almost all teams. You can utilize characters with Claymores or Swords.

For the limited-time characters featured in the Wish banner concurrent with this Spiral Abyss, this Abyss is highly suitable for Durin, Venti, Varesa, and Xilonen.

  • Durin is a very versatile Pyro Off-field Sub-DPS that can be used in both the Upper and Lower Halves. However, he can maximize his potential in the Upper Half.

  • Venti possesses a very powerful AoE grouping ability, making him extremely suitable for the Upper Half's environment. Additionally, he can trigger the Abyssal Moon Blessing frequently through Swirl and Absorption. Once upgraded Hexerei: Secret Rite effect:, Venti can even become a Main DPS.

  • Varesa is a Plunging Attack Electro DPS. Using her in the Lower Half perfectly aligns with the current Ley Line Disorder. She is also viable in the Upper Half, but she doesn't have a significant advantage when dealing with crowds.

  • Xilonen is also a very versatile Support who provides Damage Increase and Resistance Reduction. She can be used effectively in both the Upper and Lower Halves.

| Conclusion

Overall, the difficulty of the Luna III Spiral Abyss is moderate. It does not feature the kind of extreme, highly specialized mechanics that target specific teams. However, it is quite demanding in terms of damage output, though the requirement is only slightly higher than the previous cycle. The overall difficulty has decreased significantly, allowing for a wide selection of team compositions.
